Field guide
Credits
This site is a static publication. It is built with a small set of tools and a lot of plain HTML and CSS.
Publishing
The original archive was managed with Publii. The redesign is a hand built static site.
Hosting
The original site was hosted on Netlify. Any static host can serve the new files.
Interface
Layout and components use a self hosted build of Bulma with custom variables.
Type
Text is set in Open Sans, the typeface used by the original site.
Illustration
Early illustrations came from unDraw. The covers keep that visual language.
Original assets
The code mark is adapted from the original site. Some early image sources included ManyPixels and iconsvg.
