A Learning Guide for Newbies in Python
This path is for readers who already have a computer, an internet connection and the will to start. You do not need any previous Python experience.
The two guides below build on each other. The first one creates a working environment. The second one uses that environment for notebooks and data work.

Install WSL and VS Code, add the Python extension, create a virtual environment and run a first program.

Create a notebook, install the Jupyter library, run code cells and export a notebook as a Python script.
What comes next
Once both guides are done, keep the loop small. Change one thing, run it, read the error and change it again. When you want a website you can share, follow the Firebase hosting guide.
If the terminal still feels unfamiliar, go back to the WSL file and folder guide. Ten minutes there saves an hour of confusion later.
